Nigerian indigenous rapper Phyno has finally addressed his fallout with Gucci enthusiast Ray Hushpuppi who called him out for patronizing fake luxury items even when he claims to be an A-list Nigerian artiste.
While saying less about the authenticity of Hushpuppi’s accusation of him sampling fake Gucci items, the “If To Say” crooner gave his opinion about ostentatious display of wealth. According to him, he would rather touch the lives of his people than childishly flaunt his wealth on social media like alleged “Yahoo Boy” Ray Hushpuppi does. In his words;
“It is very childish to brag about what I have. I care more about touching lives in positive ways. It is not really about how much you have in your bank account but how many people’s lives you have made better. The good thing is that I have a track record and people know what I do. So it doesn’t really make sense for me to be exchanging words with someone who just came from nowhere and has no credibility whatsoever.”
The indigenous rapper didn’t deny making use of fake Gucci items. He, however, frowns at flaunting of wealth online. But wait oo, since Phyno didn’t deny Huspuppi’s accusation, does that mean Phyno really used fake Gucci items???
