PHOTO: MIRROR.CO.UKEnglish Premier League side, Arsenal have put on the table a total of £6 million pounds for Nigerian youngsters, Kelechi Nwakali and Samuel Chukwueze, reports africanfootball.com.They have beaten off competition from Manchester City and Bayern Munich to get the pair who won the Under-17 World Cup in Chile in November.The youngsters, who shone at last year’s FIFA U17 World Cup in Chile in November,are expected with their guardians and academy officials in London this month to complete the transfer to the London Gunners.“Kelechi (Nwakali) will cost £3.9 million, while £2.1 million is for Chukwueze,” a top source specially informed.“This is the full package including training compensation to the players’ academy and what have you.”Last year, Nwakali’s agents demanded £4million from another EPL side, Manchester City, after he underwent trialsat The Etihad.City officials felt the player was overpriced and did not follow up on the deal.Kelechi’s older brother, Chidiebere, is on the books of City and his own transfer three years ago was put at over three million pounds.Nwakali and Chukwueze are currently at the Diamond Football Academy in Umuahia, Nigeria.The players have been represented by English agents, Stellar, as they have looked to move to the Premier League.Chukwueze scored three goals and provided three assists in the tournament while Nwakali, 17, was voted as the best player and has chosen to move to Arsenaldespite his brother playing for Manchester City.They will join Arsenal’s youth set-up and sign professional contracts when they turn 18 .
